Please Be aware. If you are dealing with a terrible roommate and sign a lease, you will have to deal with that for the rest of your lease. Like others say, they take forever for other issues also as all things are done online. *Took two weeks for me to get my garage clicker, Still was paying for my parking (No parking is not free like someone said) *The dumpster was finally set out after two weeks and piling garbage. *There is maybe one Cleaning a month, though they did not come this month. I don't really care about the cleanings although: *My roommate is a disgusting junkie who has different people living here almost every day. I have been complaining gong almost 6 months now. Even after I caught his guest on camera stealing from me. They will not do anything. They gave him a "Violation" which doesn't mean anything honestly and they probably cannot evict him anyway if they wanted to. So here I am, stuck for the next 5 months waiting for the day my lease is up. Hating life, hoping one of these crack heads wont eat my food again. Like the other Person said, think twice before you sign a lease. As a matter of fact, make sure to do an In person tour and inspect everything too. The online tours they do not show you real time. I know its cheap rent but it wont be worth it. I guarantee.

First off...NO COVID-19 protocol for moving new suitemates into your unit. They just moved someone who is sick into my unit with no notice. This new roommate is getting a covid test today. It would be nice to know ahead of time if someone is sick. They should be held liable if a covid outbreak occurs at Common Macarthur due to lack of/inferior protocols in place. As far as suitemates go, it's a game of Russian Roulette. You might get decent suitemates, chances are good you don't. Even one bad suitemate can create a hostile and tension filled living environment for everyone else in that unit. It's a game of musical chairs, people always moving in and out. I received notice on November 4th that the sick suitemate would be moving in on November 3rd. That should give you an indication of their customer service and communication. Varying rates of rent for each room, no consistency whatsoever. Some people pay more for the smallest rooms. I pay $1600/month for rent, the person directly above me pays $1100 for the same room. Nothing is done when you complain about noise, standard company line responses. I currently have a horde of wildebeests living above me. Walls and ceilings are thin, housecleaning is inconsistent at best with varying levels of cleanliness Inconsistent wifi speeds. Promises of free parking, never fulfilled. No help in subleasing your unit. If you decide to leave, they will force you to pay your remaining rent and then turn around and rent out the room to someone else. Basically double dipping. Let's be clear this is strictly a money making venture, the idea of community here is a false narrative they are selling in order to draw you in. Once they got you, you're trapped until your lease is over. The quality of tenant has dropped considerably since I moved in. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your housing needs. You've been warned.

If I could give no stars I would. I decided to get a room rented for my internship in the Oakland area that start in a couple days. I had good rapport with the rental rep but after our initial conversation (that went incredibly well), there has been a complete void in communication and now I am scrambling to find housing because I put my trust in this facility to come through for me. The anger I possess over this lack of care will not accept an apology!!!! The main problem I have is that they dont ever respond to emails. The only way of contacting them is through an answering service that is damn near not helpful and Ive been told Id be contacted but never was. Not even a voicemail or text. Its a complete lack of responsibility and Ill be reporting them to BBB maybe I could finally get a response from the piss poor job theyve been doing. For reference, Im coming from the east coast so my only way to communicate with them is virtual. Also, my phone tends to block most calls and this is something Ive been dealing with for a while so that has presented its challenges but my email is not ever blocked so what are the irrelevant excuses? I am trying my best to prioritize getting things sorted but they are just too incompetent to be bothered. Ill take my business elsewhere. Damn shame that youre told to do everything online or virtual and then cant move forward because the online platform is less than smart to help me move forward.
