I would like to give the best review for Valley Palms Care Center. My mom is 91 years old and spent over a month from in a different Rehab center where she develop pressure sore. The staff was so professional and everyone knew my mom's name and addressed her with a bright smile and hello. The wound Nurse healed her wound and The Physical Therapist gradually got mom up and walking, enough so that I could see improvement every day I visited. I especially want to thank Amalia, Rogin and the whole rehab team for their special attention to mom's needs. In fact, everyone working on station B are terrific. Thanks so much

If you have no choice but to have a loved one placed there for rehabilitation or other reasons, do not leave them alone! The therapists that work there seem fine. But no one will be checking on the patient, or answering calls for help, unless you are there. The call button lights up a light over the door and on a board at nurses station. They do not know which of the patients in the room called, what the patient needs, or how urgent it is, and they dont seem to care. Apparently, feeding someone dinner is more urgent than preventing someone else from soiling themselves or cleaning them up after that happens. Checking on that same patient when she was nearly hysterical from the embarrassment and discomfort also isnt a priority. Cleaning/bathing will not happen if not requested by family, except on a scheduled day once a week. Turning the patient who cant move wont happen at all. I am terrified to leave my mother there after what I observed in two days I was able to mostly be with her.

My Mom was admitted at Valley Palms from another skill nursing facility. They help my mother recover, heal her wounds and made her walk again. I would like to thank the staff in Station B and the Rehab team for the recovery of my mother.
