Okay let's see if my Google review stays up this time..I'll try to keep it brief and feel free to look at my RealSelf review for more info. If I had a time machine I would never trust Dr. Kieu with any part of my body ever again.
We can talk about how she downplayed the riskiness of a rhinoplasty surgery and acted like I could go to a Taylor Swift concert three weeks after surgery by failing to inform me that swelling and ear clogging and broken capillaries and nasal obstruction and a permanently hard tip would and could occur.
But we can also talk about her on the table decisions to make my chin longer without my informed consent, and the non consensual cephalic trim she performed when I had previously told her everything I loved about my nasal tip and how it didn't have to be changed. I'm now left with alar retraction and dents in my nose. I will also have to undergo revision surgery using my own rib bone cartilage potentially to restore my identity and minimize alar retraction and improve the breathing problems and constant nasal whistle I'm left with following surgery with Dr. Kieu.
We can also talk about the nasal collapse, perforated septums, botched alarplasty resulting in triangular nostrils, and botched revision surgery she's performed and all the ways she tried to gaslight and dismiss her patients concerns with their favorite catch all term "swelling". I wouldn't touch Dr. Kieu's practice with a ten foot pole if I could do it all over again with the knowledge I have now. Doctors are supposed to ease human suffering and Dr. Kieu has done the exact opposite for many of these patients including myself.

I just have to say Dr.Kieu is one of the most kind-hearted, patient and talented doctors out there. After she performed a successful corner direct lip lift on me in July 2023, I decided to finally get a traditional lip lift on March 25, 24 and it was a success. I love my results! I had a short philtrum to begin with 11mm or 12mm, so we removed 4mm. I wanted some tooth show. I can easily close my mouth, I have no pain, swelling almost gone and I would do it all over again Thank you Dr. Kieu and Staff for putting up with my anxiety ridden self!

They didnt do enough to inform my daughter about the possibility that the procedure was not right for her concerns during consultation. They didnt confirm and now my daughter is left disappointed and discouraged when it was the doctor who should have taken the steps to ensure compatibility. Horrible
