If I could give this school a ZERO I would. The bullying at this school needs to end now, something needs to change! The principle and front office staff are very rude ! There has been multiple bullying occasions and it is clear nothing is being done or nothing is changing to fix the situation. How are we suppose to be comfortable sending our kids to this school when the school is the one putting the kids in danger in the end. I do not recommend bringing your child here!!!!

Bullying and overflow classes the kids aren't monitored and there's no real pick up area the parents get tickets from police for waiting to pick up their kids. I went here and then my son went here and I had to pull him due to his teachers behavior and that my son would be Afraid just to ask to go to the bathroomNot a good environment or neighborhood and I still live here. I've since put my children in charter schools where they are thriving and are happier

I was in the 5th grade in 1961 . I had a male teacher. There was another class of 5th graders with a woman teacher . Very nice experience. I walked to school from Ridgeway.

I don't reccomend this school. My son was bullied multiple times and the children responsible were never suspended or held accountable. On three different occasions my son was sent home with a black eye or a bloody nose and the teachers never noticed. One time the children  threw sticks and stones at him. We went with our concerns to the principal and her only actions were to talk to the parents no suspensions. The principal would also make it a point to tell us that the children involved came from a challenging house hold and basically no upbringing. I just didn't understand why this made it okay to bully my son. I tried to join the PTO thinking I could help the school and my son but members of the PTO were not friendly. Later I spoke to the principal about it and she told me the PTO members were their own click and that she suspected parents and cafeteria members were pocketing some of the PTO money for a while now. She stated she didn't know exactly how much of the money raised was going to the kids. I then decided to home school my son. This is why some schools in economically stressed areas are the way they are, in my opinion. It's sad and disappointing.
