John A Otis Elementary School

Horrible school if you have a child that has special needs. They will recommend everything else and try to guilt trip you instead of actually trying to help your child succeed. They make you feel like your child is an inconvenience, it's truly so sad. Please parents, if you are in the National City School District go to any other school besides this one. I've spoken to other parents who went through a similar thing and it's so heartbreaking. The principal, instead of helping, will make you feel like there's no other options besides pulling your kid out of school. If I could give it no stars I would.

Exceptional staff, such a wonderful community school. We love this school, I love how accommodating ghey all are with parent working hours and how friendly the office is

We absolutely love this school for our son. They have their jobs cut out for them. Real organized staff and friendly, you can tell they love their jobs. My son came from America's Finest Charter School which they aren't. My son would come home on a daily basis with a monotone voice and an unhappy look overall. Since recently enrolled at John A. Otis he seems a lot more happier and likes to tell us of his day. We can hear it in his voice and see it in his face. I'm glad we made this change for him. Every child deserves to be around good people in a good environment that loves their job. Very satisfied with this school. Sharon Martin
