Our architectural vintage all-wood kitchen cabinetry was in need of new clear lacquer and Empire Painting delivered a 'better than factory' finish that these classic treasures deserved. To find genuine expert craftsmen with decades of experience in this world of hackers and pretenders brought us much peace of mind and confidence and a job well done. There is no substitute for excellence. You get what you pay for, and we certainly did with Empire Painting. Highly recommended.  Six+ Stars

Fantastic job by Bruce and his crew!  They did an excellent job cleaning - both the house and the area from debris coming from the house.  They power washed, cleaned and caulked every surface, patched some cracks, filled holes and did an excellent job with prep.  Every day they cleaned so it did not look like a disaster zone.  Bruce was very helpful with paint selection.  He had patches of our four favorite colors put above the garage door so that we could see it on our home in a large patch - not just a little paper take away from the paint store.  It helped us see how it would blend with the roof etc.  We ended up choosing a color that looked iffy in the small square but is wonderful covering the surface of our 2 story home.  The window surrounds and trim are a different color with the front door a bold red.  Just the colors and look of our dreams!The job was completed in a very timely manner and came in under the initial estimate.  Bruce was very quick to respond to texts or calls. If we had an appointment he was there on time every time. We are delighted with how our home looks and a potentially stressful time was relatively stress free thanks to Bruce and Empire Painting!  We would definitely recommend this company and would use their services again.

STELLAR from START to FINISH!Bruce  Davies and his staff did a great job in painting my dining, stairwell and upstairs hallway area. They repaired chips and cracks from our recent earthquake. But these areas to be refreshed, anyway. So, perfect timing, actually.  It took them 1-1/2 days. They cleared the entire room of art, pics, curtains, blind, rods, etc.., including all the photos hanging in my stairway (and there were many, over 25+!)I have a lot of art, etc on the walls. And he asked me if I want them hung exactly in the same place. i said "yes", "Ok, we will rehang exactly..." I cant imagine having to rehang, especially when it takes so much time to stage your walls. And, moving back all furniture?  No problem, they take care of this as well. They take pics, remove and replace/re-situate everything: art, pictures, blinds, window coverings, curtain rods. And, their painting techniques are fantastic ! They cordoned off all areas to protect any outlying areas, including floors, and took great care to protect all fixtures!Completely trusting his staff of over 7++ years. I work, left them instructions as how  to lock up the house.  So, no issues in 2 days of having them here! Ultimately, afterall is completed, you'll walk in, and you are so amazed, because everything is back in place!
