Horvath Painting

OK Painter, but the worst plaster repair person ever. Should have known when he bid the job and said the cracks in plaster from the earthquake would probable return. I guess I thought he meant if there was another earthquake. He did not do standard repair for plaster walls - did not dig out the cracks and provide a mesh with the mud to prevent return. He simply literally slapped a bunch of mud on the cracks with the result being up to 1/4 inch of plaster in strips 2 inches wide protruding from the original surface. When I said the excess plaster needed to be sanded down he replied that would be too much work and he would just add MORE plaster to hide what he had done. I told him that is not a solution - the walls would then not be flat. When I refused to pay him due to the.fact that the repair would now be more costly if he hadnt done anything he threatened to sue ME. I said so ahead because you are at fault herr and I should sue you. The repair will now cost more if this painter had never touched it. Run away from this guy - no pride in his work and takes no responsibility for a trash job.

Did my house, deck, rooms and commercial building. Ive been using him for years. Hes fair, fast, reliable and super neat! Hard to find that in professional painter these days!
