Comfort Inn South San Jose / Morgan Hill

Sunit was an absolute pleasure to interact with. Friendly, helpful and super accommodating. The property had an amazing Sauna, hot jacuzzi and a decent gym. Beds were also super comfy.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. However, as a disabled person with limited mobility, when I attempted to use the closest entrance to my room to enter the building, prior to the time posted on a metal plate on the wall next to the entrance, the door was locked. I drove back to the front entrance, which was far from my room, the clerk told me they never have that entrance door unlocked and management did not have the sign removed. Additionally, when I walked out to my car, later, in a handicap parking spot, someone had parked next to my car so close I could not open my car door enough to get in. It was a lined through NO PARKING spot. When I went inside to ask the clerk to call to have the car towed, the clerk said she knew about the car illegally parked. It was her husband's car. He came to her work because she worked the night shift alone. I couldn't believe she would knowingly allow an able-bodied man park illegally in a marked area that was there for the benefit of disabled people. Then, the next morning, before I could get my shower, all the power went out in the building. I was afraid of falling in the totally black bathroom without lights. Overall horrible experiences at this Comfort Inn! Do NOT recommend, especially if you have any mobility issues. Rooms: Very far from the entrance into the building. They knew I had mobility problems, but gave me a room far from the entrance. Safety: All the power went out. I was afraid of falling in a pitch black bathroom as there was no emergency light in the room. Noteworthy details: The front desk clerk allowed her husband to park in a lined through NO PARKING spot next to the handicap spots. He parked so close that I couldn't open the car door enough to get into my car.

My experience at Comfort Inn Morgan Hill was regrettably overshadowed by a series of rude encounters, notably with the manager. Upon presenting my employee discount, I found myself subjected to a line of questioning that felt unnecessarily intrusive and uncomfortable. The manager's lack of tact and unwelcoming demeanor created an unpleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. Despite any potential positive aspects the hotel may have offered, the overall impression was marred by this unfortunate encounter, leaving me disappointed and dissatisfied with the level of service provided.
