        The Jabberwock Inn provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. Despite our last-minute booking, the hosts were very accommodating, making us feel welcomed with their hospitality. Impressed by our initial stay, we extended it by another night. The inn's decor strikes a perfect balance between homeliness and elegance, creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. Both the breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres were delicious. The Jabberwock Inn stands out for its excellent service, beautiful setting, and delicious food. It's an ideal choice for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

        My husband and I were able to book this B&B last minute. What a wonderful experience we had. Dorthy the inn keeper was very accommodating and helpful. The best service in American History. We even got to speak and converse with the owners, this was a delight as we didnt expect they would want to share with us. They truly love this home and it shows. The breakfasts in the morning were world class and wine and hors doeuvres at night were an added extra touch that we really appreciated. All the details were cover. Well done! Well done!! We will return.

        Be acutely aware to purchase trip insurance. This particular Inn is not very understanding and will not refund any money or credit you If you dont cancel 72 hours previous to your engagement, regardless of a hospital emergency or an emergency of any type. Dont make a mistake of thinking you can cancel or dispute this on a credit card because you cannot. Ive learned my lesson and can guarantee you. I will never stay here.

We empathize with the difficulties that emergencies can bring. We made efforts to re-sell the room despite the short notice.As I communicated to you, we reached out to individuals on our waitlist, unfortunately without success. We understand that unexpected situations can be frustrating, and we genuinely tried our best to remedy the situation.Regarding the credit card dispute, we provided the credit card companies with all the relevant facts, and they ultimately agreed with our adherence to the established policies that you agreed to when you made the reservation. It's important to note that our policies are in place to maintain fairness for all guests, and they are not atypical of other small businesses.We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we sincerely wish you the best on your future travels. As I communicated to you prior to your credit card dispute, and to this review, if your plans were going to bring you back to Monterey during a non-holiday or special event time, we would have been happy to discuss options and work towards a positive resolution.
