Arthur Polussa, MD

I found Dr. Polussa through USCIS website and scheduled an appointment for immigration physical exam, everything went well. He is doing everything on his own, I feel not as bad as other reviews like, but may be kinda slow pace compared to other doctors given his age.

At first appointment, he seemed like he cared and asked a few questions, he's an older gentleman, does everything himself. He does not have a receptionist, he answers he's own calls, and is rarely at the office. I needed an emergency surgery and needed a surgeon referral signed asap from him. I left multiple voicemails, and he never returned my calls. I showed up to the office and luckily he was there. I explained my situation and he rudely filled out my form, and turned his back and asked me to leave. I asked him about my lab work results from a month ago, and he said they were lost, and that I should retake them. Very disappointing.

My pharmacy called him several times. He never responded. I called and he said I needed to come in. I said ok, but I'm nearly out of medication. He said he could see me a week from Friday. I said I would be out of medication long before that. He said go to urgent care. I said I would find another doctor.
