An inspection does not mean our technicians will provide any work. When our technician arrived on site, you mentioned how most of the companies you contacted charged for an inspection. Up until that point, you seemed satisfied with us. You stated your water heater wasn't working for approximately 3 days and there was an error code 6 coming from the water heater. Then, you asked our technician to reset the water heater and make sure it turns on. The moment the tech reset the water heater it meant our technician was providing you with his service. So, he proceeded. Once the water heater was up and running he was able to remove the error code as well. Our technician provided a quote to replace the water heater, so you wouldn't have any issues in the future, and if not you would only have to pay for the service he provided which was to reset the water heater, remove the error code, and ensure it was working properly. You saved money by (1) not replacing the water heater, and (2) not having to purchase any parts for the water heater. The moment our technician gave you the total for the service to collect the payment you became aggressive and started insulting our tech. At all times our technician was respectful and efficient with the service provided. Our technician then decided to leave for his safety. PG&E does NOT provide servicing on the water heaters to remove error codes. Thank you!
