image This is a scam as an intern and former employee I saw how corrupt this company is... please be warned they are a scam! Read the article about this company on Deadline and the Facebook pages that warn against this fake talent company. Please save your money and time! They are a scam!

image First of all they changed their address in a month which is a huge red flag. My audition was in a Hotel in which I was asked to pay an outrageous $1600 fee for photographs. Unbelievable and a slap in the face. Not listed on the SAG/AFTRA website and their photography studio Studio Icon can't be found anywhere. Stay Away. I give -5 stars

image Global One wants to make themselves seem they are professional and have your kids best interest in mind but that is far from the truth. My daughter was with them for a year and when we signed I told them she had a manager and I was told, oh we will get her more jobs than she will! Lies they tell. The photos were not professional they want you to have with their photographer which did nothing for my child. Their acting coach hasnt worked for anyone but they make you use him even though he charges more then the professionals so they get their cut as well and if you dont use him they belittle your child and say she cant do anything g more than be an extra. Well thankfully I stuck with my childs manager and she had professional photos provided at no cost, acting coach that charges way less and my child booked movies, tv, modeling, and other jobs. Her name was on the screen as a starring role not extra and when we went to LA to do shows there, I was asked why didnt I bring my child to the office. My reply, why you didnt book this job for her and we were thankfully released.

image This place is obviously a scam. A couple of years back I was looking for new management. A friend of mine suggested their managers which was Global one I had never heard of them before... which is never a good sign but none the less I contacted them and set up an interview via Skype.
I have been working in entertainment since the age of three. I performed all over the country my entire childhood. I have family that are famous actors, managers themselves and producers. I continue to live and work in LA as well as teach at one of the top studios in Hollywood. I am a proud member of 4 different actors unions and Im a continually working professional. I have starred in feature length movies and guest starred or been a series regular on multiple shows.
All of that to say this...the Interview that I had with Global one was unforgettable to say the least. They did not even appear on the video. They just showed an image but expected me to be seen and perform for them. The woman I spoke to was beyond rude and continued to insult me the entire time. They acted as if I owed them something or I was beneath them in some way. She even said since your resume is small and dont have much experience.
I would bet money that I have more experience and connections in this business than that woman. It went on and got stranger until I just hung up. It is clearly a scam and I have no idea how they actually have any clients. The ones that they do have seem to be a bit brainwashed into believing that they are good because they try and sell themselves as some religious kind of establishment.
Dont waste your time or energy. If you want an actual manager....do your research. See who their clients are, see where those managers have worked, ask for business referrals, take multiple meetings, look them up on IMDB.
This is not it....dont be fooled.

image This company is a complete scam. Please be warned stay away from any of there other businesses. Once one scam is found out by the public then they create a new business, their newest scam is Breakthrough casting and International Casting service. As a mother, I wanted to encourage my son's dreams and he wanted to act so I wanted to help him. When looking for agents in LA I came across, Global One. When I read their online reviews, this company clearly has a lot of family and clients that are unhappy with them. It is clear from the start this is not a reputable company. There are even facebook pages that warn against Global One, the owner Sunny Chae and her office manager Marina Futura (Sunny is also known as Dear Mama Sunny) , and another facebook page warns against this scam showcase that they do annually, called World Wide Star Search. This showcase cost over a grand and it was appalling at how unprofessional the showcase was. It looked like a second rate talent show, one that you might see at a gym of an elementary school. The showcase was described as a formal event that could open many doors for my son. When we arrived it was unorganized and unprofessional. This was an awful event that i was embarrassed to even be seen attending since it lacked any professionalism both in appearance and in the way Sunny Chae and Marina ran in it. Either way stay away from this company, in 6 months we spent over $3500 on classes, photos, and the showcase, and received one audition that was a casting that we could have found online ourselves. I was later informed that this company does not have access to submit their talent to Actors access or casting networks, two sites in which most professional agents submit their talent. Apparently, both companies have put Sunny Chae on notice for running similar scams. Also Deadline, which is an online news source that is actually quite credible, they investigated Global One for their scam and an article was written about Global One. The title of the article is: Beware: How Global One Managements Questionable Practices Entangled Politicians, Child Actors And The Homeless
At the end of the day please learn from our mistake and from the many others that have posted online. There are a lot of people that have been hurt by these two women. They claim to be god fearing women, but to scam those that do not have the money is anything but godly, that is stealing from the poor, and they will have to answer to god one day.
