I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights due to renovations at my place, I've always wanted to stay at a hostel just to experience it so I was like "What the heck" the morning of my check in I got a text from who I assume is the owner giving me basic instructions. I was disappointed that there was no parking inside as it says on here, he said street parking only and also said to be aware that on Mondays and Tuesdays I cannot park on the streets from 8am-10am or my car would be towed. I arrived and kitchen was messy the restrooms were gas station clean at best. I decided to eat before going to my room and rest, once I got to my room I was expecting a bathroom inside because on the site there's two options for the male rooms, one with a bathroom and one without a bathroom that's why I chose to pay Xtra because I tought I chose the one with the bathroom in it. Apparently the extra charge is for how close the bathroom is from your room lol. Asoon as I got into my room, there was a foul odor, and it was the mess that I'm guessing someone that lives there had under his bed. The sheets smelled horribly luckily I had my own in my car. The next day I was outside keeping an eye on my car because apparently in that area people can park in the middle of the street and right next to other peoples cars, I saw two people walking up the street with their luggage confused on where they were, mind you I'm local so I know the area isn't the best. But these foreigners who barely spoke English were stunned to see the neighborhood. One of them literally started cleaning the bathrooms not even ten minutes after arriving lol luckily I was just there for two nights and was glad I booked a regular hotel for the rest of the week because I couldn't see myself spending another day there. This is obviously a place where people who need housing stay and not a hostel but if the owner rents it out monthly instead of weekly then he will lose money so I understand the business side of it and to be honest I'm glad these people that are living there have a place to stay in but don't advertise it as a hostel, those pictures on the sites are not real.

The hostel is dirty (bathrooms + rooms), there were no lockers, the rooms were nasty & the beds looked like they werent cleaned in a long time. The common area looks bad, there are two couches you do not want to sit on and zwei camping tables (?). This is not a real hostel, but rather a dirt hole. The first thing we were asked by a guy who lives there is if we want to buy drugs. Do not book this!

The accommodation is so bad that we arrived, saw it and decided not to stay there and book somewhere else. All. You walk in and there is no staff. Both the people staying there and the property itself give a feeling of insecurity. There are no lockers. The neighborhood itself is unsafe. I don't know how it's still open and how it has a good booking rating.
