I had a horrible experience with this firm. To start, make sure you have a copy of your retainer agreement, I was overcharged $59,636.98 and it wasn't until they dropped me as a client for an outstanding balance, that it was discovered. Secondly, they charge for every email read and sent but fail to respond to all the questions asked in the initial email. I was also charged for "binders of evidence" that never made it to the courthouse. This firm cost me time with my child because when I reached out to have something amended, I was told I had nothing to worry about since it wasn't the final order. Turns out two months later, they hadn't resolved the issue with the defendant's attorney and cost me time with my child. Following year, same issue because the stipulation was never filed. Originally, two attorneys were assigned to my case. Besides the lack of communication, or actually responding to my questions, they seemed to understand what I was asking for and what my needs were. Again, lack of communication, I was moved over to Charlene, for unknown reasons. At the beginning, she seemed to be confident in what she was doing, but when it came time for court, she lost her confidence. She called me with recommendations, I did not see the need for her recommendations, and continued a long call about how I should really consider the recommendations. Finally when I gave in, the conversation turned into how I shouldn't just give into the recommendation. When I commented on her lack of confidence, she suggested I work with another attorney who may better suit my needs. Timothy was just as bad. Lack communication, everything was saved for last minute. The hilarious part about working with Timothy, was he commented on not being physically present in court; how it's the same as appearing through the court app that allows them to call in. During court, I had little to no communication with my attorney, multiple recesses had to occur for this communication, and the judge made a comment asking why he was not physically present as his absence is causing delays. They have no trouble reaching out for payment, but when I ask about charges that I believe are a discrepancy, I have yet to hear back. Do not use this firm, they will take your money and leave you to hang.

I can recommend this law firm, I was looking for someone who would help me with my family law case, but the situation was urgent and I needed immediate action. Joel and Kinga assisted me right away, I was so happy with their empathy and all the help I received. The bill was high but it was worth it
