If you just need 1 or 2 things it's okay, provided they haven't run out. The checkout lanes are there for decoration purposes only. They also lock up everything because you get the feeling they think of customers as animals. On principle alone I'll walk the block down to Ralph's to buy stuff if it's locked up. I understand loss management needs but their blunt force methods are kinda basic and unfriendly towards their entire customer base. I generally always leave in a slightly worse mood than when I arrived. I'm not quite sure where these positive reviews are coming from since it's known as the Soviet Target in the neighborhood. They keep losing their baskets because unlike other stores, they don't put RFID tags on them then tell customers to use carts, also they're out of carts. They'll be messed right in front of staff and they'll just ignore it. In general it's just not a well run store.
