Herbert House Sober Living

I spent over 2 years living at Herbert House. The property is nice inside and out! It is not just one house, its multiple homes that take up the corner of the block and all the unit's backyards meet and come together to make up one backyard. The manager Guy was a big reason I stayed there as long as I did. Guy was a big help to my sobriety and made Herbert House feel like home while I was residing there. I still drop in to say hello from time to time. Herbert House was one of the biggest reasons I was able to stay sober, especially in the early days of my recovery. I would recommend Herbert House to any man over the age of 25 years old that wants to live somewhere that's free of drugs and alcohol.

Thank you to Herbert House for being a solid part of my recovery. I just took my seventh year of sobriety and appreciate this place for giving me the tools needed before moving into my own place. Herbert House is one of the best places to live to focus on your recovery. The manager (Guy Watkins) is so steady and reliable when it comes to making sure everyone in the house is achieving the goals they set when they arrived. Very friendly atmosphere with an outstanding location on the west side of Los Angeles. There are tons of sober livings in LA, and in my opinion Herbert House is at the top.

I stayed at Herbert House through my recovery in 2020 for seven months and combined sober living with an intensive outpatient program at Claire Matrix in Santa Monica. With the help and leadership of Guy Watkins and the safe environment that the Herbert House gave me, I was able to recover from a 15 year addiction.
