Dr. Loscialpo is very knowledgeable and proactive.That said, the nurses are the real shining stars here! They have some how, magically, gotten my 7 year old son excited about coming to get 3 shots in the arm twice a week!

Dr. Loscialpo is very proactive on getting a patient off meds through routine allergy shots. However, I don't like how he pushes new meds onto me that some vendor has asked him to try out. I feel like a guinea pig. He only offers the meds when I'm having a problem, not all the time, but then it's like, "Let me know how it works out because these meds are new and we're trying them out." what??? His staff is friendly and welcoming. They seem kind and they do try to get to know each person.

I feel compelled to respond to the negative comments regarding the staff at this office that have been previously posted. From my experience over the last year in which I am at the office once a week, I have been treated with the utmost professionalism. All of the nurses and office staff are not only highly competent, but they are compassionate, kind, friendly, helpful and to top it off, they have a marvelous sense of humor. It is refreshing to see a doctor these days whose staff actually care about the patients and treat them with respect. I actually look forward to my weekly visits, even though I am getting 5 injections, just to visit with these wonderful ladies.And btw, this is the first Spring in many years in which I haven't spent the day in an "antihistamine coma" because my allergies were so bad. Dr L, who recently retired and Dr Tsai who has taken over the practice have really done very well by me. I thank them both and highly recommend this office to anyone suffering from severe allergies and asthma such as myself.

Highly disappointing:1) Couldn't get a rough estimate - let alone a straight answer - about pricing even though I provided my insurance info up front. Receptionist seemed VERY defensive about not knowing the price (not even an ESTIMATE) and kept trying to push the blame game back on me. It took three unpleasant conversations and an hour of explanation for them realize I only wanted a rough price estimate.My impression is that the reception staff is either sleazy (like salesman hiding the true price), incompetent, or a bad touch of both. 2) Have to set THREE appointments for testing (each appt costing up to $395 depending on type of insurance), which wasn't explained to me up front.3) The overall consultation and allergy testing were Ok. The only saving grace for this review.4) I didn't even see Dr. Loscialpo for anything; instead I saw another doctor (Dr. L's partner). He was good but be aware that you may end up with someone not advertised.I won't be going back. Do not recommend. I'll stick with my Clariton.
