Substandard care and no billing adjustments. The doctor was over an hour late, I was the first appointment and the receptionist confirmed it was not because she was in surgery but they weren't able to reach her. The Dr. took one look at my labwork and asked me what 2 of the items meant - she's the doctor. She did extraordinarily little questioning then left and came back with a xerox for 2 surgeons and discouraged me from calling one because he "is too busy and selective". My time with her was less than 5 minutes, she didn't know the labwork items, she was late, falsified notes from the visit - and the billing department refuses to make any adjustments. The best part - that doctor wasn't with the organization 2 weeks later, which is very telling.

To be clear, my primary care doctor, Dr. Amador is AMAZING. I'm very lucky to have her.My issue is with their Covid doctors and system. Yesterday I tested positive. I got it from one of my own patients. So I called and made a phone appointment with a doctor at 5:40 to get the medication. An assistant called me at 5:40 and said the doctor left early. Oh really. He couldn't get coverage? A 5 minute call was too much to handle? I called back and made an appointment for 6:45. Did a doctor even bother to call me? NO. Did he have someone call me to say he's not calling? NO.My father was an ON-GYN and I work in healthcare. This is disgusting for any doctor to be so entitled, such a narcissist that they think it's ok to just ignore patients they have an appointment with. I'm high risk due to my age and wanted to start treatment right away. Wasn't getting it from them. Dr. Amador called me and took care of it thankfully.I know a lot of people see doctors as Gods, especially some doctors. You aren't God and you give your company a very bad name. I don't care what excuse you make up, it was irresponsible and downright disgusting to flat out abandon a patient you have an appointment with. Your entitlement is disgusting.

I would give zero stars if possible. I tried to see my PCP (Dr. Gaddam) for some pressing health issues that needs to be addressed in-person as soon as possible. The first try setting an appointment the MA/Receptionist pushed for a virtual appointment instead but eventually convinced them for an in-person appointment. Got to my appointment day and the location/my PCP tried to change my appointment to a virtual again. I walked out after that. Now I have to find another provider for the care that I need, possibly delaying my care for a few more hours or days or possibly weeks. I truly felt my PCP and this Optum location was trying to deny me the care I required and hiding their reason behind company policy. To deny patients the care they need for any pulmonary reason (non-Covid related) is a violation to patient care, and feels like a lazy way in providing care.

I found the BEST primary care doctor I have ever had in my life here! Dr. Gaddam addressed all my needs, was a great listener, and gave me the referrals I needed. I was really happy to see that they could draw my blood in office since I am so used to having to go to LabCorp. The ladies at the front were really nice as well! I had an appointment at 1:20 and was done by 1:55 which was really refreshing to see. Not to mention Cesar who helped me with bloodwork and urine sample was SO nice and helpful. I would recommend this place for sure!
