My post has been deleted, they really are trying hard to hide it!!!
HONESTLY!!!!! ... I don't even know where to start.
Hardly- respect for residents
Hardly- appreciated for residents
management has favorite puppets (staff) to use to harass good staff and at time the sweet residents who are being controlled by these monsters.
Building condition are horrible, MANY PROBLEMS surrounded by black mole that was covered up by fresh paint, rupture sewage pipes that have had a quick fix- doesn't solve the main structure of the building stability, friendly roaches and if not the strong smell of chemicals.
Hy humble opinion, "If you love your family or loved ones, don't take them to Villa MESS Redondo!"

My dear mother was living at the Villa Redondo for almost 2.5 years.  She had dementia and the staff was unbelievable wonderful to her.  They would tell me we just love your mom.....I couldn't have chosen a better place for her.  The moment she walked in she said to me "oh I like this place."

Common Villa Redondo...get the air conditioning fixed, have the scheduled activities you SOLD the family on. Silence is not golden...speak up!!!

It's a great place.  From when I first called to find out about placing my mom there, it was easy and felt right.  Jeanette at the front  desk was easy to talk to and answered all my questions.  I had already been to four other places that were awful.  Jeanette set an appointment time for me to meet with Maria the director, who was wonderful and made sure both my mom and I were happy with mom living there long term. It felt like she was  living with family. The staff has always been very attentive to her.  If ever there is  anything that needed my attention or something I should be aware of Lorraine or Jeanette called right away... they refer to her as "mom"  when they call.   When I visited they had little things to say about what mom had  been doing, like hanging out with another lady and folding laundry. They take residents to doctors appointments, they know the dietary needs and make sure they eat.  They offer movies, games and activities during the day.  The dining and activities rooms are both street facing with large windows that fill with light.  I could  sit with my  mom and do a puzzle in the big activities room or take her out for a walk.   There is a center patio where residents can go outside for fresh air and sunlight.   All the residents can walk, move freely and interact with one another. During the holidays they do crafts and have parties for the residents and families  are invited to come be with loved ones.  It is a smaller facility with three floors and everyone knows each other.  They care about the residence that live there.
