I have used Blum Construction for 3 major projects: a kitchen remodel, a complete reface of my house for an updated look with hardie siding, and windows/doors replacement. Mark is a pleasure to work with. He was there when he said he would be; kept the work spaces clean and organized to minimize theimpact of living withconstruction; and focused on my projects through to completion,getting them done in less time than I had expected. Mark does the majority of work himself, minimizing the quality and scheduling issues that can arise when dealing with subcontractors. Mark is focused on customer satisfaction and attention to detail -- highly recommended!

Unimpressed with the overall quality, customer interaction, and price.A gentleman named Brendan came and was unprofessional and did not listen to what I was saying I wanted. The time I was told was off by a week and the price was way over what was quoted.I also heard him say a horrible word about an African American he knew and laughed.besides the fact the work was shoddy, I also had a closet racist doing work in my home. It explains a lot now that I look back. I would NOT under any circumstance recommend this company, especially if Brendan will be the one doing the work you expect.

We have used Mark and his crew twice.  Bathroom remodel in Livermore.  Work was completed on time, on budget, kept the job site clean.Second job was more involved in (Manteca home)  3 bathrooms remodeled to include counter replacements, sink and fixture installations.  Removal and installation of several kitchen appliances which required modification of the cabinets, new floor and crown molding throughout the house, demo and wall modifications to two bedrooms, Installation of attic access stairs, installation of outdoor can light fixtures.Once again, always on time, kept the job site clean, on budget.  I strongly recommend him as a general contractor

Having moved to CA from MI, it was very stressful trying to choose the right contractor with only one personal referral from a friend of a new friend...but it couldn't have gone any better!  Mark transformed our "fixer-upper" completely in a very short period of time.  He is conscientious, does things the right way, he's easy to communicate with, and I felt comfortable with him (and everyone he brought in to help) being in my house whether I was there or not.  I can't say enough about how happy I am with our experience with Blum Construction.
