This school is very bad terrible breakfast i got diabetes from it it very bad and the school really does not care about us im in 5 grade 2017-2018

I am grateful my kids attended this school. I work 10+hours shifts and I really love how I received reminders and information daily by the principal herself or another staff member regarding school schedule, parent teacher meetings, fundraisers, and even emergency trainings that the school prepares our kids for. The teachers there are also invested in the kids performance. In addition, Ms. Castelli uses this app called Class Dojo which is an added form of communication directly from teacher to parent and vice versa. I think all tea gets should use it. Lastly, you can also tell how the principal, Ms. Carbajal, is very involved with the school and the kids. She often times is found in the mornings greeting parents and students and welcoming them to school. Keep it up Zela Davis team!

I really dont like this school my sons 3rd grade teacher Ms Rodriguez was the best part of the whole school. Hes in 5th grade they dont even graduate the 5th graders they just pass to the 6th grade . But I seen them graduate the pre k lol pretty backwards to me. Hawthorne is the worst district to put kids in school at.
