Amazing staff made my procedures feel painless

I highly recommend IVY Endodontics, especially Dr. Mary Um. On two separate occasions, my dentist recommended me because he thought I needed a root canal before they were getting ready to put a cap or a crown on one tooth after she inspected me and took x-rays she said I didnt need one. I was so surprised and pleased and then some months later I had another sore tooth and my dentist wanted me to go see her again where this time she took some very advanced x-rays of my head and my whole jaw area And she went in great detail and showed me the pictures and that she recommended that I not get a root canal at this time and to take some Sudafed because she showed me where my sinus was inflamed right in the same area as my sore tooth, I found that really hard to believe but after following her instructions and for five days later, I feel a lot better. This doctor in this office has saved me over $4000 , how rare is that in todays times where everybody looks to be taking advantage of people I highly recommend Ivy endodontics, especially Dr. Mary Um. She also went through my billing and extreme detail and was very transparent. I feel very very comfortable there. I highly recommend Dr Mary Um

Had an extremely complicated root canal (calcification and other circumstances) successfully done at Ivy Endodontic in 2019. Recently returned for a professional opinion and I appreciate how thorough they are with their examinations, as well as their restrained approach to dental medicine. They recommended against a root canal at this time, suggested other solutions, and I left feeling satisfied. I'm not sure if this location moved, but I don't remember this office being in an upstairs suite above a soon-to-be-open brewery. It is a little difficult to find for that reason. Also parking options are limited since they are on Main Street, ie: the historical downtown area of Garden Grove.

Stay away from Dr. Sampskins. I had a cavity on 1 of the molars and per another endodontist it wasn't restorable due to the cavity location up by the root and gum, but after multiple tests and like xrays, Dr. Sampskins claimed that he could possibly save the tooth, giving me false hope thinking that he could save my tooth. His office demanded that it'll cost $360 if they went in and ended up can't save it which insurance won't cover the cost due to the incomplete procedure. On the day off, I told the from office girl that I wanted to talk to him to confirm if he can really save the tooth, but he went ahead I drilled it off, not even attempting to remove the decay. The whole procedure took him like 20mins to finish and then changed me $360. For short 20mins, they made quick easy $360 just to do off my tooth. IF DR. SAMPSKINS SAYS "WE DON'T KNOW UNTIL WE GET IN" AND HE WANNA CHARGE U INCOMPLETE FEE "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"!!!
