This place is very good, Ms. Marta is a very good manager, she cares about the tenants and the well-being of the families.

The new onsite manager Martha, is a great to work with. She is extremely caring and considerate and had truly made this property a better place to live.

Can’t wait to get out of here!!! So many unnecessary rules . She nit picks at everything. Feels like your in prison with all the rules she has . Daughter lives next door to her and seems like shes exempt from the rules.

I lived here for 6 months and I can't wait to get out. The manager, Debbie, is unreasonable and extremely hard to get ahold of. Dont even think about having visitors around, getting anything maintained in your apartment, or getting ahold of the property manager during emergencies. Living here is like living in a college dorm with an RA. If the manager does have an issue with something, she wont get back in touch, she will just yell across the complex at you when youre out grilling. I recently just had a pipe emergency and when I called the emergency maintenance numbers given by the voicemail box of the property, because Debbie wasnt answering. I finally got ahold of someone and he straight up said, "I prefer you get ahold of Debbie before I come out and do any work. Last time I did an emergency call she threw a fit that we had to come to do the repair, and it was a hassle from there"... Are you kidding me.?! Debbie was home during all of this and didn't respond to any of my calls or knocks on her door when it was only 4:00 pm and a Monday. I literally had a pipe burst. The end result, its been days since the pipe burst, the guy had to come to fix it because of the massive water issue, and she has still not responded. I would say any maintenance issue brought up will be treated with a temporary band-aid and not really taken care of. I had to change out my own apartments air filters, even though Debbie says they will take care of it, nothing was ever done. The property is old and falling apart. The maintenance worker is very old and only on the property ONCE (1) a week to fix all complaints that are sent in via phone call. Other issues with Heathwood Apartments is if you travel for work and you leave a car in a parking spot thats assigned just for you or on the property not driven past 7 days, it will be towed. What?? Oh, you also need to provide yourself with your own garage door opener to access the parking spots, if you don't buy one, you cant park down there. Last thing, (Oh I could go on forever) If you have friends or family who want to come and visit of course that's ok, but if they plan to stay more than 5 days Debbie must be warned and she must approve, literally approve. Of course, there is a catch. If you want to use the pool with family or friends, you MUST get them approved by Debbie to even use it. And If she isn't home and you use it and she ends up seeing you, well get ready for aggressive encounter and for them to be kicked out, even if you were with them. I wish I was being dramatic, but I'm not. I have also been in a relationship for over 6 years and we are long distance at the moment due to school. Well my SO came and stayed for a week and a half or so. One day Debbie saw me coming back home and yelled my name across the property (a good 10 feet or more, from her front gate across the pool. pretty far) and said, "Is your girlfriend still here?" And I told her, yes, but she is leaving in two days. Her response, "Well she has been here too long and needs to leave, read your lease." Apparently, in the lease, a non-resident cannot stay for more than 20 days at a time and NO MORE than 30 days a year. My SO was on the property for only 10 days. I gave her a call to talk about this and never got a callback or response to this matter, a big reason I am leaving. I was only here for 6 months and I couldn't get away faster.
