I'm sad to say that this place is terrible. All I wanted was a new caseworker, I asked multiple times, but every time I asked my caseworker, Perla Inzunza, she would get offended and tell me no turning point does not do that. I know that was a lie. Then after I made a call to the office to ask for a different worker, Perla Inzunza called me with what sounded like anger which again was a red flag, but then she showed her true colors. She treated me as if I was irrelevant days went by, so I made more calls to the office asking to speak to her supervisor. It took him two weeks to get back to me; another red flag, like if mental health means nothing to them, and we finally spoke. He did not reassure me on anything about Perla in the situation.
It makes me sad that in the beginning, all I wanted was a new caseworker the one they gave me had no sort of people skills. She didn't strike me as a caring person; I only wanted her to check and go home. She could care less, and when someone complains about another name, she panics, which is not professional if you cant handle the criticism, then gets some help. Still, Perla Alvarez did not have to call the police on me on false reports, all because I wanted a new caseworker. But since the turning point in Pinedale did nothing to ease my mental health from the harassment done by Perla Inzunza, now I want justice. She needs to be fired, not promoted. Perla should not be working in mental health because it seems as if she has significant issues that she needs to work on before trying to "help" others. All she did for me was make my mental health worse. All I want is a transfer, and I want Perla to find a new line of work because she will kill people.

I was seen here before and I really like the standard of care that I received. Unfortunately I moved out of County, and when I came back, Pinedale RMH employee Elizabeth said that based on my current location that I was out of their service area. I'm still living in the same city that I lived in before when they saw me before so apparently I need a referral again from Fresno County Behavioral Health and Fresno County Behavioral Health is refusing to help me. It's upsetting to have to go through a grievance process just to get timely access to Quality Behavioral Health Services here in Fresno County. I guess the standard operating procedure is just to wait for somebody to snap and become suicidal or homicidal before they can help.
