Really great i got a GTA game for my dad

This rating applies to pretty much all the Gamestop locations in the Bay Area. Every time I've called for information on a game, whether it's about availability, price, similar games, etc., they've always been courteous and thorough. Most recently, I called the Fremont Hub location looking for a couple games, and they found the nearest location where I could pick up both in one shot. They didn't try to rush me at all. They didn't try to push the search off on me. When they found the games I was looking for at a single store, they even offered to call that location for me to verify and have the people at the other location pull the games off the shelf and hold them until I could pick them up later that day. Whether in person or over a phone call, this sort of customer service has been the standard every time I've dealt with Gamestop. 5 stars are well deserved.

Phenomenal service. Derek helped me locate an item on the phone beforehand, for which I am very thankful. He and Victor chatted a little with me about the 12 year old game the item was about during checkout. Cool guys.

This is the worst GameStop Ive ever been visited. Didnt even go in the store I walked up said they would be back at 3pm it was a little after three so I just waited 15 minutes later says be back at 4pm. This is ridiculous the store will just go out of business at this point by being closed for over and hour dont know if they are understaffed but come on. Im guessing they were closed for more than an hour probably two hours. This is ridiculous never and I mean never will I go there ever again. I do not recommend going to this GameStop. All gamestops Ive been to never completely close their doors ever I know people got to eat and such. But when do you lock up shop for that long makes people discouraged to ever shop there. I dont usually ever right reviews but this made me incredibly mad that I couldnt just get what I wanted.

I feel very bad for this Buisness.... the staff is always so welcoming and so knowledgeable about the products. However, I just don't see this store gaining any more traction due to online purchasing, digital copies, and overpriced games, I have the Xbox game pass and get a lot of games for free or even for just $7 dollars but to see the same exact game at Gamestop that cost $30+ puts a sour taste in my mouth sometimes. I hope that this store survives but things have to change first.
