Rooms occupied by roaches.not good response at front desk. Elevator filled with cigarette smell.

Room had a bad odor, on our second night we started to notice a bunch of baby roaches and by the end of the night we killed 4 big ones and a handful of baby ones. We had our room switch out and the window on the 5th floor didnt have a screen. Never coming here again

I stayed in a suite my first night it was very basic to pay extra so my second night I change my room to a regular room. On my way to my room I noticed white patches in the carpets of the hallways and it smelled all throughout the halls (that should've been my first clue I'd have an issue.) After I finally got into my room and sanitized all the main areas as I was cleaning the bathroom I noticed medium size patch of black mold on the ceiling. I immediately gathered my belongings to check out. The person who checked me in seemed to be understanding and helped me with a quick checkout. However I don't understand how the hotel employees aren't aware of what's occuring at their hotel, I was a bit upset I wasted my time.
