Budget Car Rental

Staff here (Helga) absolutely useless. No concept of customer service or how to operate any kind of rental business. Prepaid for a reservation, they switched payment to my grandmother for incidentals and wound up charging entire reservation to her. When stated we needed help remedying instead of trying to correct charges threatened us with (???) because of Budgets failure to draw up a proper contract that included additional Driver names despite us outlining our intention from the start and paying additional driver fee. What a joke.

I had a great experience at the Folsom location. Despite all the hassles that can be associated with renting a car, there is still a human element that can ease your frustrations. Neal from the Folsom, CA office is one of the good guys. He understands how important it is for the customer to have a positive experience and goes above and beyond what would normally be expected. Budget, like any other large company, isn't without it's issues. It's employees like Neal, who are on the front lines, that can make the biggest difference to a companies reputation. Because of Neal, Budget Car Rental is okay in my book.

Received a paperless coupon from Budget and attempted to use it at the Sacramento Airport. The agent said he didnt need it and it would be applied. Looked at my bill and it showed a $400 hold from Budget. I called the 1-800 number and was told they couldnt help me as the coupon should have been used at the time of the rental. I drove to the Bidwell location and Neel the branch manager was there and helped resolve the problem. He was super helpful and very courteous. I would recommend this office and doing business with them.

Be careful!!!I rented a car one month ago from this location and today someone tried to use my card that I use to pay, to steal 450$ from the budget rental in Virginia Beach ( I have never been in Virginia and I never used this card in USA in any other place ) someone there is trying to steal !!!! I will contact a lawyer for sure !

If I could give this guy a ZERO I would. Worst manners I've every witnessed!!! Poor thing must have a miserable life, then takes it out on customers. Funny how he deletes all his low ratings!!! Do yourself a favor go to Hertz or anywhere, you will be treated with kindness and respect. This guy is a short fat loser!!!! Poor thing!!!
