They, like all gamestop stores, sell defective products labeled as "pre-owned" and unlike most any other company, will not give you a refund unless you have a physical receipt, even if you've paid with card. I came in with a ps4 controller they sold me that was not turning on, demonstrated that it was not turning on, and showed my purchase history on my card. The employee helping was willing to cooperate, but the system would not reverse a transaction without a physical receipt. This is obviously a hoop they put in place in order to make their scam harder to overcome. At the very least they were willing to give me some trade-in credit... Wait what!? Trade-in credit!? So you knowingly take defective products and resell them? And evidently do not fix them before selling them for nearly full price! Garbage company.

The people who work there are really nice, and knowledgable on gaming. I REALLY appreciate the people who work here. This review is strictly for the company. (I traded in 4 games and a console for context). You are already losing a lot of money giving back games and an old console. That's whatever. However, he said I should do the 1 yr membership because "the points would cover it" as if I thought I was getting points for trade-ins and buying the PS5. The points were only 1000, which is 10 bucks and the membership is 14.99. So, FOR ALL THAT I only get 10 bucks??? 10 dollar off coupon when most of the items are available at Walmart in the same mall for 5 to 10 dollars cheaper. So collecting points isnt going to do anything, and they set an AUTO RENEWAL to try and steal your money unknowingly if you don't check your email. I am going to use that $10 coupon to buy something over priced, and still lose $5 for the membership costs. My PS4 Pro was only $125 credit. Feeling beyond ripped off and I highly recommend NEVER buying a membership and shopping at WalMart instead. I wish I hadn't said yes because the membership was a huge insult to injury. Again the workers are AMAZING and he is great at his job. The company itself gets worse as time progresses, especially with all of the terrible game trailers for generic, bad graphics, anime games on the TV. GameStop, as in Stop shopping here.
