The property has gone thru many changes. I have been here for more than 5 years. Since Covid, If you expect customer service or quick responses on anything not related to porter or maintenance, you might not be extremely happy. Security is particularly slow to respond. However, The porter and maintenance teams are amazing and wear many hats. Gabriel Madrid does not only keep the property clean but is quick to respond. Today there was dog poop in the hallway and i told him and five minutes later it was clean. When he goes on vacations you can really see the difference: trash piles up and its not as clean. Essex is very lucky and fortunate to have him. The maintenance team is also amazing. Bernardo is a hard worker. i hope Essex knows how to keep their best people because that is the one thing that differentiates it and these two teams make up for all the other shortcomings.
