I have rarely given a five-star review in my life. However, where Jeff Epperson and Cole's painting are concerned, they absolutely earned it and deserve it. The estimate was fair, the work was done exactly as agreed to and the quality and attention to detail were outstanding. In addition, Jeff and his crew did extras, here and there, without being asked, just because they needed to be done. I hired Cole's Painting to paint the exterior of my house in August of 2023. Jeff, the owner, is a good man, he hires good people, he charges a fair price, and he and his people do a great job. I could leave it there, but I won't. Jeff uses the best materials, high quality primer, paint, and caulk, and he does not skimp on the caulk or the masking materials. Jeff deploys the best technique for each individual surface: brush, or roller, or spray. He uses the best equipment: high quality brushes, and a $3,000 sprayer instead of a $1,000 sprayer. He is very thorough with all aspects of both the preparation and the painting. And if Jeff says he will do two coats of paint, then every surface gets two coats of paint, not just the ones at eye level that the customer will see up close. Jeff makes sure the other surfaces way up high, or otherwise hard to get, are also properly painted. I have been let down by other painters on the number of coats up high on the gables, as well as the thoroughness of the caulking. After Jeff was finished, I got my ladder out and checked his work, not just the number of coats on the gables, but everything else as well, high and low. I am certain no one could have done better job than Jeff did. Jeff is highly skilled from 20 years of practice. He can cut that edge between two adjoining surfaces of different colors, and make that edge look straight, even when the surfaces are not even... and he can do this free-hand with a brush, with either his left or right hand. Jeff gets the job done in a relatively short period of time, but only because he deploys efficiently. He spends extra time where time is needed. And when all is done, he will come back promptly and fix anything if you think something does not look right. Jeff's last name is Epperson. Ask him how the company got the name, Cole's Painting. Jeff and his team are beyond amazing! We cannot thank him enough for all the amazing support he gave us when we decided to repaint our whole exterior. Such amazing customer service and always on time and on task. Thank you for everything! You will be hearing from me And Splash again!
