        Took in my truck after getting code P0456 small evap leak. Cost $800. A month later the check engine light came back on. I plugged in my OBD2 scanner again, and pulled the exact same code. Big ???? moment.

        I brought my vehicle into Elk Grove Transmission, and am so grateful I did. Growing up, my father was a mechanic owning his own shops. He taught me a lot about integrity in repair shops. My experience with Elk Grove Transmission was flawless and checked all the boxes I was taught to look for. The mechanics are amazing, front desk help was amazing, pricing was so incredibly awesome (a blessing with the rising cost of living right now.) I was able to visually see what the problem was (honest) no hidden fees, and most importantly my vehicle is fixed with no further issues. I had follow up texts and phone calls from them as well to make sure my vehicle was still running well, with the problem solved. I highly recommend Elk Grove Transmission! Thank you Elk Grove Transmission!

        I've used Elk Grove Transmission recently for oil changes and also a pre-purchase inspection. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. The pre-purchase inspection was thorough and objective. They guided me in determining what items "needed" fixed and what items were recommended. They could have recommended everything, but I always find them to be very honest. The folks in the office (John and Priscilla) are both very knowledgeable. I feel comfortable that I won't be taken advantage of or advised of unnecessary repairs. No hard sell tactics. Just good, honest people who actually contact you after your service to make sure you're satisfied. Dealerships are expensive and I feel take advantage of people. You won't find that at EG Transmission.

        Have to say, E.G. Trans is a fantastic auto repair shop. Wonderful communication and understanding. And their work is top notch.. If you're in need of a new clutch, I would not recommend anyone else.. Ask for John..!
