I have had a very good experience with Lake Forest Transmission. I came here to see Rob, the owner of Lake Forest Transmission because Tustin Toyota recommended repairs for transmission leak when I took my Avalon (51,100 miles) there for oil change. Rob asked if there was any sign of oil leak in my garage floor where my car was parked every night, and I said no. Rob then jacked up the car for inspection and he found absolutely no sign of transmission or any oil leak. Rob is super honest, friendly, explained everything and did not even charge me for the inspection, and had saved me hundreds of dollars. I do highly recommend Lake Forest Transmission to everyone in the Orange County area.

Rob is very honest, kind and has your best interests at heart. I am not sure what is wrong with my Titan, but it's not the transmission. Rob could have easily taken my money for something that is not wrong, but he didn't and spent the time helping me to try and diagnose the issue, twice! My friend brought his BMW here to have the transmission re-built, and he highly recommended their work.

My 2013 Toyota Tacoma was having torque converter shudder and the dealership told me I need a complete transmission rebuild. Rob recommend a fluid change and shudder lube. He's service fixed the problem and saved me thousands of dollars. If I ever have transmission problems again I'd definitely take my vehicle back there.

Rob and his team replaced my drive axles on my 2009 Lexus ES350 within 2 hours at a really good price compared to nearby auto shops. I will definitely be back with any other axle or transmission issues.

Took my sons S10 in for what I thought was a Ring gear or torque converter replacement. Turns out it was a starter rattling and they fixed quickly and affordable. I am a mechanic myself and it was nice to deal with someone knowledgeable and trustworthy ! They earned 5 stars.
