I have been a patient of Dr. Farahmand for years, and one thing that stands out for me is that he and and his staff take the utmost care at ensuring your comfort. Going to the dentist is always stressful, but I can truly say that is not the case with going to Dr. Farahmand.

Everyone there has been amazing, especially with my 4 year old--they work wonders, exhibiting great skill in working with children. He somehow sits calmly while having work done!

We tried Dr. Farahmand because his office is very close to our house, and he has very convenient hours. We were initially impressed because the office is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, we felt we had to stop taking our small children there because the "inspection" of their teeth consisted of a very brief glance into their mouths, not by Dr. Farahmand himself, but by someone else in the office. We are much happier with the children's new dentist. Because of the convenience, my wife and I continued to go to Dr. Farahmand. After getting some fillings, I experienced significant pain when biting, I asked Dr. Farahmand about it, he said that sometimes that happens. The pain did pretty much go away after a few months, I was a little disconcerted, but wrote it off as a fluke. My wife went to see Dr. Farahmand about some pain on the left side of her mouth, and was quite surprised when he started to inject the right side of her mouth- he explained that she had cavities on that side that needed to be filled, but he didn't explain until after he had already started the process (I must say that this was unusual, he normally was very clear about what he was going to do and how much it would cost, maybe he was just having a bad day). After the fillings were done, my wife experienced extreme pain on that side of her mouth, making it very difficult to eat. A few days later, Dr. Farahmand attempted to alleviate the pain, but unfortunately only made things worse- not only was my wife in just as much pain afterwards, but came home with a big hole in her tooth. I was later informed by Dr. Farahmand that it is not a "hole" because, according to him, " there is no communication to the inside of the tooth," so I guess it's just a really big hole-like structure where part of her tooth used to be. We went to a second dentist, who is seemingly more competent because he was at least able to lessen the pain, although he said that the tooth was damaged enough that it would probably require a crown. Neither me nor my wife had ever experienced pain like this after a filling, but both of us experienced after work from Dr. Farahmand. Despite the nice appearance of the office, I recommend going elsewhere.
