Dr. Anthony Nitido and Heather provided exceptional care for my amstaff, Frank. They patiently addressed all of my inquiries, making it possibly the best service experience I've encountered. Located in Culver City, the clinic has convenient parking right out front, alongside a meticulously clean and aesthetically pleasing lobby and facility. Without a doubt, there's no need to seek out alternative veterinary care. Invest in their membership, schedule an appointment every penny is truly worthwhile. Thank YOU!

I am extremely grateful I found this place. I want to share my entire experience for anyone who is looking for a vet. I took my 77lb Texas Heeler (Australian Shepherd & Blue Heeler) here last week to get his paw pads checked. They gave me some antibiotic ointment to rub on them and theyre healed at the time of me typing this. Since it it was his very first time here, they did do an entire screening panel to check his overall health. I wasnt expecting that, but it makes sense. They took a urine and blood sample. I purchased the membership while I was there because I was truly amazed at their professionalism and care for my dog. This was great because it got us the exam for free AND 10% off all the other things he had done. Now, my dog threw up the day before the vet visit. He gets anxious and does this sometimes, so I figured that was the reason. However, he threw up a couple more times after he vet. It then turned into diarrhea instead. Heres where I love this place their app has the chat feature where you can talk to a vet 24/7. I have been talking to the vets on there every single day for 5 days now! I kept them updated on his health, sent videos, etc they helped me with switching him to a bland diet, measurements, and really helping him without me having to research it on my own!!! It was truly so helpful! They finally suggested I get an appointment on Monday and got me in that same day. They gave him meds & a stool sample to check for parasites. Today is Wednesday and his stool is 100% solid again and he has all his energy back! I am so so grateful I didnt have to guess what was wrong and that I had someone there to walk me through this journey every single day. They were very responsive on the app and put me at ease for what to do. I also love how everything is in the app and I can find his records and results immediately! Its so modern, clean, and the best vet service Ive ever experienced. Highly highly recommend the membership and this vet!

My recent experience with modern animal was truly abysmal. My experiences up until then had been okaythey generally try to keep your animal with you, do procedures somewhat efficiently, but like most vet usually want to upcharge you. But they recently diagnosed my dog with cancer and I scheduled an ultrasound with them (which took a very long time and multiple messages). Fine, theyre busy. We arrived for the ultrasound and I was given a quote and asked to sign a consent for sedation. I wasnt given the consent to read just asked to sign. So I asked to read the consent. I have an Irish wolfhound, a very calm dog. I thought most likely she wouldnt need sedation for an ultrasound, a painless procedure, but understood this sometimes is necessary. I asked to speak with a vet because I am in the medical field and wanted to know what type of sedation, as she is old and I wanted to make sure they gave her drugs that wouldnt cause as many side effects. They told me that if the vet spoke to me now, they wouldnt be able to speak to me after the procedure. I was shocked. The consent paper said i have discussed any questions with a veterinarian and they were making me make choices between understanding the sedation plan and knowing if my dogs cancer had spread. Finally a vet called me a few hours later. She told me the drugs she planned to use, because when they tried to do the ultrasound my dog had kicked them off. I had never seen her do anything like this and Ive seen her poked with needles and having rectal exams. But fine, I trusted the vet. When I came to pick my dog up later she would not stop crying. My dog is stoic. In any amount of pain she has never cried persistently and we have had her for years. I thought it was just the anesthesia wearing off but a few hours later she started limping. She couldnt put weight on her foot. She wouldnt go to the bathroom. She just kept crying. The team never provided me any instructions when I picked her up, just told me how much I owed them. They wouldnt let me talk to the vet but wanted me to put a $250 deposit down for surgery and werent even sure which surgery it was. All the rest of the day and night i sent messages to the modern animal team asking to speak with someone about what happened. Trying to figure out why my dog cant walk. They kept saying empathetic things and telling me someone would call me but no one ever did. I am so upset. I brought my dog for a procedure that should be painless, she ended up injured, and no one can take the time to speak with me. If you have some basic need with your dog modern animal is fine. If you ever need anything more serious, think hard about going to this place. Oh and I forgot what they charged us in the end was $400 higher than the estimate.
