Southern California Veterinary Imaging

My regular vet and I have spent a full week calling and emailing to set up an MRI. They almost never answer the phone and they definitely don't respond to emails.  Finally someone picked up the phone and said "sorry, we don't do MRIs."  Now I have to wonder why they didn't respond to my vets submission document requesting one. Or any of my messages and emails doing the same. My pet has been suffering during all this time that's now wasted time. Not cool.

This place is incredible! Everyone is informed, organized, professional, efficient and caring to the utmost degree. I brought my senior cat Bugsy for a radioactive iodine treatment and I was impressed every step of the way. From Mike who picked up the phone on a Friday night and patiently explained the whole process in details to Dr. Cardwell who called me for 45 minutes to further elaborate on the injection and the post care and Chris, the cat whisperer who knows how to handle the most nervous cats as well as Shannon, the quick on her feet assistant, everyone was amazing and thoughtful. The price is competitive and the space warm, peaceful  and inviting. Highly recommended!

My dog had some abnormal lab results suggesting he might have cancer, so our vet referred us to SoCal Vet Imaging for an abdominal ultrasound. Our experience was excellent from start to finish (and not just because my dog is healthy and cancer-free!). The staff scheduled our appointment quickly and provided all relevant info by phone. The facility is clean and comfortable, and all of the staff doted on my dog (who, admittedly, is hard not to dote on because he is so unusual looking!). Dr. Schochet was detailed and clear in explaining the results of the ultrasound to me, and even took the time to consult with oncologists to help answer questions I had. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of imaging they can't get through their regular vet.
