Older place right on the highway, so it is a little bit noisy from highway noise and some other business that ran overnight. Folks working here were really nice.

Where to begin! I would say the smoothest part was the check in but turns out that was done wrong. Before booking the room at North Coast Inn my wife notified the front desk that we have a medium size Australian Shepherd who's not friendly and two month old baby can we get a call or notified before someone comes to the room he reassured my wife that wouldn't be a problem they are pet friendly establishment and someone will call before knocking on your door we payed for a week. In the morning we received a call to come to the office. After my wife walked are dog she stopped at the office there she was notified that the "new guy" who checked us in last night put us in a non pet friendly room and we will have to move in to the pet friendly room and he also charged us wrong we would have to pay more. She asked was this the non friendly dog. My wife explained that if you don't get to close he ignores and avoids you and even though he's calm don't pet him. Turns out the room they were going to put us in had a clogged drain and wasn't fit for guest so we will have to stay in the room they gave us until another room was available or the clogg was fixed. Later on that night the hotel staff decided to throw a thanksgiving party in the rooms on the left of us and the right of us that last from 7 pm to 4 am Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night. Tried to switch rooms but couldn't due to the only pet room available wasn't available. As my wife was walking are dog to the designated dog area Sunday morning the maintenance workers staying in the room next to us tried walking up to my dog and wife trying to pet my dog as she instructed him not to but he didn't listen and kept approaching my wife and dog it's unknown if it was a language barrier my dog is on a leash with chest harness and muzzle started barking at him only then did he turn away. As my wife was walking back to the room another worker came out of the room to notify us we couldn't stay here because are dog barked at the maintenance person. Room was clean when we checked in and very spacious, microwave, small fridge internet worked amazing! Housekeeping called ahead of coming to the door to see if we need anything. If you have a pet I wouldn't recommend this "pet friendly " place and if you can get a room away from the staff you should have some privacy and a quiet night if that's your thing.
