        Didn't want to stay in Crescent City as it felt too sketchy, so found this motel with clean rooms and a great location. Although a bit dated and old, it was a comfortable stay as far as a motel goes. Great location right in the redwoods with convenient access to a gas station and convenience store across the road as well as a breakfast restaurant next door. Safety: As safe as can be in the middle of the woods. You'll be fending off squirrels rather than the unfortunate homeless. Food & drinks: Good breakfast with friendly service
