        My husband and I booked a room from 3/31-4/3. We came to Crescent City on a search for a low key mini vacation. Due to my illness I sleep a lot, so I was happy to have a comfy bed and pillows to sleep on. The area for us was quite and not too much traffic on the walk about behind the hotel. I loved hearing the sea lions and the fog horn. Our room had an ocean view which was also very nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. 99% of the Inn seemed to be clean. The reason they are only getting two stars from me is the bath tub. It was nasty. We didn't ask for another room or report it because upon check in when we wanted a different room the clerk told us they didn't have any other rooms for the period we were there so we went to Wal-Mart and bought flipflops to bathe in. Not sure we will book again...time will tell. Rooms: Our room was nice if you don't look at the bathtub. We don't watch TV so, I have no idea if it works or not, I assume it does. The 80's did call and ask for their decor back. The couch was nice and comfortable. Food & drinks: We didn't eat at the Inn. I did have some hot chocolate and it was good. My husband seemed to enjoy the coffee. I did go down and check out the food one morning. It was just bagels and apples. I assume there was more.

        Loved this place. I randomly rearranged the art work when I stayed here last... Srsly, they had zero continuity. I fixed it. You're welcome

        This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The TV didnt work. I paid extra for a room with a spa tub in it and it didnt work either. When I asked for some money off my bill since the thing I paid extra for didnt work the staff basically told me I was SOL I wouldnt refund any money. The balcony with the Oceanview that also cost extra was completely covered in spider and disgusting as well. I had other family members that also had a room there and they were very unsatisfied as well. Save yourself a headache and stay elsewhere!!

      There is nothing more sad for us than to learn that we could have remedied a situation for a guest, but didn't get the opportunity.       Hey, James. We did our best to help you operate the jetted tub...which does indeed work. We apologize we couldn't articulate it enough for you to enjoy it. All our beds are the same firmness, style and manufacture. Even though the mattresses are exactly the same, we receive reports that they are perfect, too firm or too soft. We aim for middle ground; however, we know they will not always be equal to what a guest sleeps on at home.Your room rate was $139 and we did indeed give a discount for your inconvenience. If you check your receipt, you'll see we only charged you $99.We're sorry you're still displeased and hope your journey back home was safe and without incident.
