I was with this program for 4 months, I went through PHP and IOP and it was a lot of work and a lot of fun, I have great memories here. Thank you to all the staff for helping me get to where I am now, Im finally feeling like myself again. The support is amazing with each individual, they really look after you. The groups themselves content wise are phenomenal as well, they are very educated on each topic.

Whoever is reading this review, the answer is yes! Yes, this is the place you need. This is the place to help you heal. Coming from someone who was very skeptical of therapy and therapists. Now I believe everyone can benefit from it. The staff was always wonderful. I became truly grateful for all of them. Theres a special place in my heart for Rose and Lorin. They saved my life. This place healed me. I walked away from there knowing more about myself, knowing more about the brain, no more anxiety, and ready for the new chapter in my life.

I came to Acera and had the best experience I had been going through trials and tribulations after being diagnosed with bipolar. No medications were working and I had been in and out of the hospital without Acera I would still be in Atlanta struggling. I was able to get off several medications and finally be put on the right dose and combination! Mickey made the admission process easy for my parents and helped them make the best decision ever for me. Yolanda made a huge impact on me she was so genuine and concerning about my well being and motivating. Other staff I truly appreciate were Nicole Jeff Serena Eric and Charles they were great BHTs. I truly consider Acera a family and believe if you need help with getting your mental health right this is the place!!!

This clinic has the worst management I have ever seen. This is the first IOP I have ever attended. I do not have a history of mental illness. I am so deeply hurt by their dishonesty and actions. I truly do not understand how anyone could have reviewed them well after their opened their doors 9 months ago in April 2022. I feel worse for having been here.
My therapist and the therapist of several of the PHP/IOP clients was changed with 5 minutes of notice because they decided to move him to a different part of the program. He got 12 hours of notice, his patients got none. This was even more jarring in light of how we had been told three weeks earlier that no clients would be forced to change their therapist in the wake of all of the new hires they were making. Therapists and group facilitators just come and go from the company with no explanation and i have seen many clients have to ask to be assigned to a new therapist because no one talks to them after their therapist is fired.
I paid $360 for a GeneSight test that was promised to be done in 2 weeks. Two weeks went by, and then I found out the lab they contracted to do the testing lost its accreditation, and we would not be getting a refund. They claim to be a mental-health-only facility, but they force all clients to take urine drug tests once a week claiming they are "checking whether we are taking our psych meds" via urine analysis.
I watched therapists and group facilitators misgender and ignore the consent of clients. I have been shouted at as a facilitator slammed their hand upon a table as a way of demonstrating to clients that "Sometimes people's heart-rates actually go down when they are startled". I and other clients have been promised hypnotherapy, TMS, and Brainmapping. And every week they say it will be ready the following week (for four months).
The therapists and group facilitators are largely competent and kind. But regarding management: They are new, they are cheap, and they don't have a clue what they are doing. Please be careful and stay away!
