I would shop here in NY in Soho, back when people were friendly and nice, back when I lived there (seems like an oxymoron to be fair) and back then I found a variety of clothes that would fit, were unique and were reasonably priced.I had less money then, but I was young and single and I could always fit into the smaller sale stuff.Fast forward to now, where I am obviously older than the sales people, and I am a mom. I have money to spend, altho now I don't throw it away on the purses, shoes or fragrances here, as they all seem cheaply made.I can afford any of the clothes that seem interesting. The store is completely empty in an otherwise packed, post Christmas shopping mall. There are three sales staff there. Two behind the counter, chatting to themselves. One frantically putting dresses back as if they magically had a rush (which I don't believe they did).I walk out, finding no service whatsoever, and no clothes that really seem that great. I am not a bag lady or poorly dressed, I am simply not a woman in my early 20s or 30s. Goodbye, Ted Baker. It was nice knowing you when I thought your items and your sales staff were cool.  Perhaps your lack of service is the new service, but now I know why people elevate their style and their pieces as they age. They no longer have to put up with cheap quality or cheap service.
