California Pools - Corona

We had our pool built in 2021. I will say, it was one of the more challenging times to have a pool built. What I appreciated most, was Quinton and team never overpromised anything. Yes, it took longer than normal, but the COVID pandemic affected so many, in so many ways. The honesty and transparency from the start was most important. At the end of the day, we now have a backyard that we are proud of and a pool, spa, and fire pit to enjoy for a long time to come. Thank you for a job well done and a great experience overall. I contacted CA Pools and had them come out to my home for an estimate. Erik came out and we talked about having a pool and hot tub built. They only give you a rough estimate unless you pay for a design and proposal. Meanwhile I had been getting bids from other contractors. I called and set up a second appt with Erik and we decided to go thru their process and pay the 300 for a design and hard proposal. About 16 days later I was sent the bid and design. It was much higher than the verbal estimate I received on first appt. We had several emails and conversations over a few days. Last night 11/18 I signed the contract and was going to drop off deposit at their Corona office. Now for the details that still disgust me as a customer. When I first met with Erik as the same for other contractors I said I want this pool ready before next summer. My first appt with CA Pools was about a month or so. The contract stated an estimated 4 months to build pool and start date to be announced. This morning I received a call from Quinton the owner and he explained he had some large jobs coming up and did not think he would be able to do mine. He did not think mine would be done by summer and could not even project a start date. This company needs to re evaluate how they are doing business internally. My pool quote was 88,000 and it surely wasnt the lowest bid I had. I thought I was going to a reputable business so I would not have headaches but it all started way before my pool dig. I put in my cancellation for the contract and now my hunt for another contractor will start. Plain disgusted.

From start to finish, I am just impressed. Erick made us feel like we had a hand in designing our perfect paradise, and the professionalism and cleanliness was more than I expected. Thank you so much for building us a place to make memories at for a very long time.

We had Erik Holter come out and give us a quote just to see what it would cost to turn our bland backyard into an outdoor oasis. We where 50/50 on our decision until we met Erik. From the first hello he was professional, knowledgeable and literally designed what we where thinking about. His ability to take a thought or mention in a conversation and put it into a design and then into reality was beyond what we could have ever imagined. We absolutely loved every aspect of the design that we signed up to have the work done that day. From concept to reality it took roughly 3 months and we have the yard of our dreams. A place for family and friends to make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. You cant put a price on making dreams become a reality because at the end of the day, each experience with family is priceless. We would love for other families to experience what Erik brought to use with his ability and skill to give us the amazing results and to exceed every aspect of our expectations.
