Bay Valley Solar Roofing

I want to warn people to avoid this company based on their poor craftsmanship and even worse service. They replaced my roof 9 years ago and with the recent rains we noticed a leak which caused water damage in our attic that needed remediation. After contacting Bay View to have someone come out and assess the damage, I was told someone would get back to me with a quote the following day. Never heard from anyone but knew they were likely busy. After not hearing from anyone 3 days later, I began a series of 8 separate phone calls to find out the status of the quote and was told each time it would be fine the day after calling. After the 8th time, I called back and no one would return my call anymore. I finally had the work done by Clear View Roofing who did a terrific job overall and showed me pictures proving the leak had started years ago when the roof was replaced due to very poor workmanship. All that said, I called one last time using a different phone number to give them one final chance to acknowledge the poor follow-up before leaving them a bad review. I was called back immediately by Carlos who apologized and used the excuse that theyd been busy however, I asked on several calls prior to tell me if they were too busy as I needed to get the leak addressed asap due to water coming in the house. Carlos asked to see my invoice and pictures of the repair work Clear Valley performed which I sent to him via email. He wanted to discuss with his boss and get back to me with their thoughts. He immediately acknowledged receipt after receiving my email. Never heard back from him again. He also sent me the quote Id been waiting for which turned out to be $1,000 more than the actual repair Clear View performed. Therefore, I will never do business with such a bush-league and unprofessional company like Bay Valley Roofing again. And I would advise those looking for good work and good service to contact Raj at Clear View Roofing theyre amazing!

Bay Valley Solar Roofing (Sean Park) came and repaired our 3 leaks in our roof. They were great - competent, courteous and provided excellent service. I appreciated their responsiveness. They also took and provided photos of their work and cleaned up after the repairs. I recommend this company and their work. Thank you.

Unlike most of the roofing companies out there, Bay Valley knows how to do roofs right. So many roofing companies cut corners and depend on the ignorance of their customers to not know any better. I can walk down the street where I live and point to identical houses with roofs where the roofers did not do them correctly. Many of those roofing companies are family owned and involve multiple generations and justify the poor work they do with, Weve been doing roofs for 30 yearsblah blah blah. On the other hand, Bay Valleys Carlos Ortega fully explained and showed us all of the parts of a roof explaining why they are necessary for a good roof system. I was aware of all of this prior to engaging Bay Valley and they got it all right. Sean Park was on site several times a day and in touch all day long and after hours to make sure every aspect of our job was covered and that we were 100% satisfied. I'm a stickler for details and the knowledgable crew doing the work answered my questions as the job went along alleviating any concerns I had. Even unanticipated things that required creative thinking were addressed and solutions well executed. I'm not an easy person to please, but I could not be happier with the job Bay Valley did. And the cleanup during and after the job was meticulous. Not a scrap or nail to be found anywhere. Integrity, knowledge, communication, a skillful crew and attention to details make Bay Valley a good company to hire.
