D0gsh1t bank wanted $10 a check to cash 2 checks that were not payroll checks from THEIR OWN bank. Total scam! This is EXACTLY why I will never have a Chase bank account. Tried to save a trip to my bank which is in ventura, thanks for nothing Chase! ::insert hands slapping Chase execs faces here::

I opened a new checking account and was assured checks would be coming soon. After three weeks and no checks, I went into the Carpinteria branch, " I don't know what happened, I will reorder".Three more weeks pass, I go in again, this time I was told I would get complementary next day shipping.Seven days pass. I go in again....Also, I deposited a large check. Seven day hold, of course. I write a check dated for nine days later (weekends don't count, of course). The check bounces because my check had not cleared! And I was charged $34 fee,This is the worst bank! Staff is not that knowledgeable.
