So grateful to have found this amazing school for our daughter. She has thrived academically and socially. She is fully prepared to transition into kindergarten and further school education. So much love and support from the all teachers and I can't recommend this school enough

Candy and Dan are amazing caregivers. We've sent our two daughters to them over the last 4 years and have been so happy with their environment. They truly care for the children as if they were their own. They sing and dance, play, create, go on nature walks around their beautiful gated community and all of the families that attend become close as well which is another added bonus. Not only will you find the comfort of being at an in-home daycare with a sweet group of children, but they also work with the kids to prepare them for school each at their very own age-appropriate pace. When our oldest started kindergarten it was an easy transition for her, but more importantly, she was beyond prepared. Now she is beginning first grade and already reading chapter books on her own. I know that this is a huge thanks to how Candy and Dan work with the children at their daycare. We're so lucky to have found this gem and highly recommend them to all!

Candy and Dan have far exceeded our hopes and expectations for our daughter's care. They treat every child and every child's parents as their own family. They create a fun and (very) clean academic environment where children are not only prepared for school academics, but life learning (Candy was key to helping us and our daughter get through potty training). Our daughter just turned three, but before her birthday was counting past 20, singing her ABC's, memorizing words, writing some letters and able to recognize all letters and numbers...and more! This is all because of the dedication from Parkhurst Daycare. They are so much more than just a daycare. I can leave every day knowing my daughter is being treated fairly, kindly, learning academics, manners, leadership, friendship, and more. I now have a difficult time fathering leaving her with anyone but family or Parkhurst!

Thanks to a referral by a friend of a friend we found this preschool. This is the best place I could have possibly stumbled on for my kids. Candy and Dan quickly became like family to us. They are sweet wonderful people that have created the cleanest, safest, most organized, loving, educational and fun environment for young kiddos. My son went there for a year or 2 and my daughter went there from 3 months to 5 years old. My daughter misses them so much that now at 8 years old she still begs to go visit them. Both my kiddos started kindergarten far advanced of the other children in their grade which is a great testament to their emphasis on education and unfortunately not our parenting. The highlights I remember from our time with them that makes them different: Candy was great at pointing out things I was too busy to notice like the kids needing their nails clipped or shoes being too small, healthy snacks and homemade smoothies they provided, balloon bouquets for each kid on their birthday, their house having a room full of great pictures of the kids attending the school (Candy coordinated fun and themed annual photo shoots), a cd full of pictures/videos of each kid from their time there that was provided upon their "graduation", love their new interactive game/learning projector. I could go on and on but I think I've captured our love and appreciation for this place.

Both of my children attended Parkhurst and it's one of the best decisions we ever made. Our daughter started when she was 15 months old and before her 2nd birthday, Candy had her potty trained. Actually and more accurately, we as parents were trained by Candy how to help our child achieve this milestone! Before her 3rd birthday, she knew all her numbers 1-50, colors, shapes and most importantly she knew her home address and phone number. She was beyond ready for Kindergarten and at age 17, she still thinks of "Miss Candy" & "Pappa Dan" as family! Our son started when he was only 3 months old and had the same experience as our daughter except he wasn't ready for potty training till he was 3. (Boys tend to be that way ) My 2+ year old niece is currently attending Parkhurst and she's thriving like my children did! Bottom line, if you are looking for that loving home environment where you will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that your child will be cared for like they were family, look no further than Parkhurst Preschool & Daycare!
