First Id like to say there are very few people I wholeheartedly trust my children with, & each time when I would drop my kiddos off I always had peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Each & every one of the educators are compassionate & competent, & go above & beyond. They have formed bonds with my boys that we will remember for years to come!

Both of my children have attended Highland and I have been so appreciative of the education theyve received. All of the educators at the school truly care and it shows. Both of my children have a love of learning and I believe the foundation of this was created at Highland. The expertise, compassion and patience of the staff have been consistent over the years. We feel so lucky to have found this school and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Highland Preschool has been an amazing experience for both our daughter and ourselves. We researched and visited multiple preschools before deciding on Highland.
They have a true carefree and experience driven philosophy that empowers each kid to create & make their own Devi and adventures on a daily basis! The educators are absolutely outstanding!
We would highly recommend visiting Highland Preschool and enrolling for the most robust child experience in North County!

We are so happy with our Highland experience. I was very anxious about sending my daughter to preschool for the first time, and we toured several facilities to see what was out there and what would be the best fit for us. As soon as we toured Highland, I knew we had found our place. The teachers are so incredibly kind and nurturing, and the Reggio Emilia play-based philosophy they follow is so wonderful. We love how much outdoor time our daughter gets, and she loves telling us about everything shes learning. In addition to the classrooms, there is a garden, mud kitchen, art atelier, and critters for the kids to play with / learn about including Tortilla the tortoise and Larry the chinchilla. Our daughter has been there for nearly a year now and we just couldnt be more pleased. As a mom, its so important to trust the school and caregivers that interact with your child/children, and Highland is a truly wonderful place to send your kids.

We feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Highland family. We follow respectful parenting and are big believers in child led play based learning so Highland was the perfect fit for our family. And the teachers are what make Highland special. They are the most loving authentic human beings on the planet and they love all the children. Each of them treat each child with love and respect in every interaction. We couldnt be more thankful to their impact on our little loves lives.
Our middle child entered shy and a little guarded and left transformed- confident and happy. She is now 6 and is thriving beyond our wildest imaginations at kindergarten.
Our youngest is in his second year at Highland and he loves school so much so he doesnt want to be picked up until closing and when he is an adult he wants to teach at Highland.
Thank you to all at Highland for loving, nurturing and supporting my kiddos so well!
PS Highland staff is also diverse, and likely as a result, student population fairly diverse too, which is also of high value to our family.
PPS Love that the kids spend so much time playing outside!
