Lilia's Drapes

BEWARE!!!!!As a person who has worked in the design business for almost 30 years, I have never experienced a workroom or business owner so unprofessional. Lilia does not stand behind her work, does not respond to phone calls yet demands you call her back, and she screams at her customers! The end result is poorly measured drapes, crooked stitching and begging for your finished product.  Please take your business elsewhere!!!!!!

Lilia knows everything about making drapes... can work off custom drawings as well as making standard designs.  As an interior designer, I have hired her for many jobs and the clients have always been as delighted as I have been.  Her prices are very good.  I was very surprised to read the other review as I have never had any issues with her service.  I do, however, think it is always necessary to get things in writing before putting a deposit down whenever one requests services.  Lilia has always been very quick to provide written estimates so I'm really not sure what happened before.

I thought that if a friend who use to work for somebody recommends them, it usually works out. But in this case it turned into a nightmare. This person Lilia does not know anything about draperies except to sew the fabric and how not to run a business. We gave her a deposit in January and the job was never finish and they sued us. She broke a curtain previously done by someone else and never admitted until we went to court. She treats the customer like crap and her son even told her that in front of us. Her husband is even worse. He brings her to job sites and does not talk much like he is a nice guy, but in court he lies to make his side of the story right. Always get a contract before anything gets started. They never gave us the contract we continously asked for and always gave excuses.  Beware.
