Just when I thought I have found the perfect matcha spot a rude employee or manager made me never come back to this store again. For context, I ordered a matcha latte with ginger and when I got home I couldnt taste the ginger at all and I also noticed I forgot to add non dairy option so I called the store to let them know the latte doesnt have ginger or doesnt taste like it has one so they apologized was very polite and asked me to come back for a remake. When I came back with my drink they pulled up my order and saw I ordered regular milk and I told them I couldnt taste the ginger at all and I was hoping for a remake with nondairy milk and they said they didnt make any mistake so what are you saying I said if I have to pay extra or pay the difference I would and the lady said I dont know what you are asking our ginger is very subtle which is why you cant taste it and we have made it already Wow Im not asking or creating a fuss just so but I already called and told you I accidentally did non dairy and the ginger isnt there so how can you add extra flavorings with charge and when customers say they cant taste it you said its because its subtle She said the best I can do is make you a new drink Which is what I asked in the first place already. No sign of empathy or wanting to understand the customer Disappointed!!

I freaking love this place, great teas and coffee, although the pastries are dry and not very good. But recently Ive found out that the ownership has created a toxic work environment for its employees. When my friend began working there, he thought that having owners involved in day to day operations might be beneficial, but he was disappointed. He told me that professional development opportunities could be taken to make working at Asha less tense, awkward, and a more enjoyable place.

a very beautiful and unique cafe. probably some of the most authentic matcha in the area, and they don't skimp on the matcha in lattes like many other places. definitely on the pricy side (a regular latte with alt milk will run you about 8$) but it's worth the price!
