I don't know how such incompetent ppl are entrusted to run a restaurant. From the cooking crap show to the poorest of service that I have encountered in a long time, they're not trained, they don't know how to work in a restaurant and they will make your head hurt

would not recommend this place to my worst enemy (if I had any).. the food isn't the issue it's the careless workers who failed on multiple occasions, such as: providing proper silverware, timely greeting and seating .. my daughter ate fettuccini with a spoon because that's all that was provided even after asking the waitress (who never gave her name) for proper silverware, took us asking 3x in order to receive proper eating utensils. We arrived at 8:15 and waited until 9:50 until we finally got tired of waiting and kindly demanded our order to go, I asked for medium-well on my steak and received a living cow an hour later; you would've thought it was burnt since the chef took that long on the order. This is the worst service and most lackadaisical crew shift I've ever had definitely isn't worth waiting an hour nor spending quality money on this establishment.

Mac grill is quite a good establishment for a chain restaurant. The food and drinks are usually quite good and they allow for substitutions and special orders, which is nice. Where this place really shines is with Angelica. At our last visit, she had the entire run of the bar area serving food and drinks to a packed crowd all on her own. We ordered a lot of things and kept her very busy and we agreed she could probably use a hand or a raise, or both. Definitely both. Give her a raise!

The restaurant's ambience and decor is beautiful, touching the theme of Italian Villa. Unfortunately, the food and the service does not distinguish the restaurant apart from other Italian restaurants. Our waitress was perfectly friendly, but was not attentive nor anticipated customer needs. For example we had to ask for refills several times, asked for sugar twice, we had to ask for dessert menu, leftovers food box, and we had to ask for our bill, each time waiting several minutes for each item; none of these items were offered or brought to us in advance.  The restrooms were dirty, one toilet Seat covered had yellow stains, and the stalls didn't have toilet paper. The food is not memorable. We give it 2 stars because despite of all of this the waitress was nice. Also the mushroom appetizer was really good.
