Karen Ward helped us with a refinance and she was great.  She did a excellent job navigating us through this tricky process and did some major heroics at the end to seal the deal. She even came by our house so we could sign the final documents because we had an 11 month old!

Karen is outstanding! She helped my wife and I get a loan for our house and she made the process seamless and simple. She is extremely thorough and an expert in her field. She was able to walk us through all the complicated paperwork and explain it in a simple and clear way. She was *never* tired, frustrated, or condescending with our endless questions as first time home owners. Her customer service is exceptional, something that truly deserves commendation. For example, she met with us on a weekend to go over paperwork - where are you going to find that kind of service nowadays? The answer is at RE Mortgage with Karen Ward. If you are like me and you care about the rate you get, then you can rest assured you will find the best rate with Karen. She was lower than what our own bank (Chase) quoted us. She can't promise you the best rate, but in practice she ends up getting you that. I would recommend her to anyone looking for mortgage related matters, she is an A++++ professional and we are grateful for her efforts.

If you're out to get a home loan in the Bay Area, R. E. Loan Mortgage, and Karen Ward in specific, is the only thing you need to know.  Karen's a clear veteran of the industry and she knows how to get things done.  This isn't a place that just hooks you up with a mortgage.  You're getting a long-standing relationship with someone who will brace your former employers when they don't supply critical documents, will fight for you, and who always keeps your best interests in mind.  If you're like me and you value your time and like to keep your headaches few and far between, get Karen in your corner.  You won't regret it.

This is not the place where you want to get your loan. I've spoken with Karen a couple times on the phone and she's been consistently dismissive, condescending and decidedly unhelpful in figuring out loan options. On top of that, she just is downright unfriendly. Stay away!
