I've had cystic hormonal acne for over 7 years now and have been to over 8 dermatologists and estheticians during that period. I have had periods where my acne was more or less under control but during the pandemic it came back with a severity that I hadn't experienced before - cysts covering my cheeks, chin, and neck. I was at my wits end, psychologically and physically. I was referred to Susan by my acupuncturist who I was seeing as a last ditch effort before turning to Accutane. I prayed hard that this would be my last stop. AND IT WAS. Susan performs the most thorough and intensive extractions that I've experienced from any esthetician I've seen so far, and I think that this was one of the main reasons why she was able to actually help my skin turn a corner. The extractions were long and painful but deeply cathartic and I felt so cared for under her unyielding hands. Combined with the reiki, I felt like I exorcised not only the horrible acne covering my face but also the emotional impacts of suffering for so long. Now, I have a clear face save for the usual singular PMS pimple and I have a simple affordable routine that only uses one expensive product. Susan has been a healer on multiple levels for me and this review is meant to be a love letter to her as well as a sign of encouragement to prospective clients that she really does have something different going on at her clinic.

No other facial gets it as right as Susans. Treatments are deeply effective. Her place is an oasis. Ive been going to her for more than 10 years now. Ill never go anywhere else. 1000% reccommemd.
